One Year and Counting …

So today mark’s the One Year Anniversary for the blog! And what a great year it has been. I would have never expected the blog to take off like it did with as many followers as it has received. It’s all thanks to you readers. I really wish I could spend more time writing and exploring more topics. That’s really going to be my goal!  I now have a much deeper sense of respect for those who constantly write and provide a wealth of knowledge. I won’t take my favorite blogs for granted anymore that’s for sure!

So in a recent post I mentioned both Josh and myself have been exploring the world of film cameras. Going back to film has been an amazing experience. I have yet to get my film rolls developed so I’m hoping my Olympus 35 RC is working. But Josh recently got a few of his developed and it sure has inspired us!

I think Josh says it best, “Film is so organic, something tangible you can hold in your hands, you can make a photo album which becomes the center of topic with others.” So earlier today we took a journey to a place not too far from us. Great adventures with the guys and my brother. To read about the experience of getting into film from Josh’s stand point read the post here.

We are going to be spending more time shooting film. It’s a great learning tool! Here a  few shots today we took with the Canon 60D and iPhone 5S to hold us over until the film is developed.
